Sunday saw the Penny Hill pub, Lucan go head to head with The Laurels Clondalkin in a competition to see who could raise the most funds in a cycletron event. In the end, Penny Hill retained the title for the second year in a row!
The Laurels Cycle Crew raised over €40K for Headway services last year. Their biggest fundraising event of the year will be the Dublin to Galway Cycle, 22nd-24th September. You can sign up at

Headway in Cork have been involved in a new initiative which aims to promote physical activity for people living with neurological conditions. The Neurofunctional Training Programme (NFTP) began in October 2022. The programme was formed in collaboration with Headway Cork, Cork Sports Partnership, physiotherapists from Cork Kerry Community Healthcare and staff from Mayfield Sports Complex.
