Headway Harriers Run Once Again
The Headway Harriers are running once again to support Headway Limerick…
Headway appeared before the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Transport last Wednesday to advocate on the topic of road safety. Traffic collisions are major source of traumatic brain injury (TBI), and over a fifth of all Headway’s clients have experience their injury in a traffic accident.
The committee heard about the long lasting impact of brain injury and the need for greater awareness in driver education of the needs of people who survive serious collisions.
