Living with brain injury can be challenging. The information in this section covers three main stages that can happen on a journey of recovery from a moderate to severe injury.

Some people make a good recovery from a brain injury with few or no lasting effects. For others, changes may be longer lasting and can impact the way they feel, think and act after a brain injury.
