Parking

We have one reserved Accessible Parking Space at our building. If you need to use this space, please ring Reception in advance to book it, on 01-6040 800. We will do our best to accommodate you, but, unfortunately, we can’t guarantee a space.

We don’t offer other parking on site. However, you can drive to the front door to drop someone off. Please see below for where to park nearby. There is on-street parking 100 meters away on Blackhall Place

Blackhall Place: the right hand side is Dublin City Council meter parking.

Blackhall Place: on the left hand side, you can park free in the Bus Lane, but from 10 am to
4 pm only. Please check the signs carefully, so you don’t get clamped or towed.

Directions to Headway Blackhall Green

Driving – From Manor Street

From Manor Street there is a one way system – you can’t go straight on to Blackhall Place. So, turn left on to North King Street and get into the right hand lane. Follow the sign for the N4/N7.

Turn right at Queen Street. Stay in the right lane and follow the sign for the N3/N4/N7. Turn next right on to Blackhall Street. Stay in the right lane. The Law Society, Blackhall Place, should now be facing you.

Turn right at the next set of traffic lights (follow sign for the N3). Then take an immediate left turn after the Law Society buildings. Headway is down this lane, through the Black Gates.

Directions from the South Quays

from Ushers Quay, turn right over the James Joyce Bridge. Go up Blackhall Place, past the Law Society buildings. Then, take an immediate left, down the laneway.
Headway is through the Black Gates.

Directions from the North Quays

on Ellis Quay when you see the James Joyce Bridge on your right, turn left up Blackhall Place. On Blackhall Place, go past the Law Society buildings, and then take an
immediate left. Headway is down this laneway, through the Black Gates.

Public Transport

Headway is well served by accessible public transport. A number of buses stop at Blackhall Place, we are 500 meters from the Red Line LUAS, and we are 1.2 km from Heuston Station.

Buses

You can get Bus numbers 37, 39, 39A and 70 from Aston Quay. Ask to get off at the LawvSociety, Blackhall Place. These bus routes, and bus stops, are wheelchair accessible.

LUAS

Take the Red Line Luas to the Museum Stop. Headway is about 500 meters from this stop. When you get off the Luas, turn towards town. Keep the Museum, in Collins’ Barracks, on your left. Go along Benburb Street about 150 yards. When you reach ‘WUFF’ restaurant on your left, turn left up Blackhall Place. Go past the Law Society of Ireland buildings. Turn left down the next lane. Go through the Black Gates. You’ll see the signs for Headway. The Headway building is the one after the stone building, on the right hand side (about 100 yards beyond the Black Gates).

Below is the lane you need to turn down. Look out for this landmark on the corner of the
lane: ‘Blackhall Court’.
